Enkei 18x9.5 +38 Front and Rear Pictures
 

I installed Enkei 18x9.5 +38 after seeing several pictures on cars on this forum showing good fitment. My car has Eibach Sportline springs, the lowest of the Eibach springs. The fit at the rear is perfect:

I fail to see the problem

The wheel lip is about 1 inch outside the body line and 1.25 inches from the wheel well lip. The wheel well lip is not directly below(or parallel) to the body line of the fender.

I wish I knew this before I got these wheels. While this look might work for some people, it does not work for me. I will be ordering the 18x8 wheels for the front.

Tire fitment is 245/35/18 F, 255/35/18 R Ventus V12. The front would have been even worse with the 255/35 fitment that is claimed to work.

Anybody want 2 18x9.5 gold Enkei wheels :bonk:

1 degree of camber will get you 9mm of clearance.

The wheels were aligned to factory specs. I realize you can tuck the wheels with more camber, but I like the way the car handles with the factory specs. While you can tuck the top of the wheel in a little, you will cause the bottom of the wheel to protrude more. You will get some nice rooster tails off you front tires in the wet:thumbsup:

Get some camber bolts and an alignment before you do anything else. It looks too good to change it.

With factory specs the car is actually handling well under it's potential. The front camber is rather weak. Unless you are an unskilled driver that is pushing the car enough to require that bit of safety under-steer .. then you could probably benefit from 1.5 degrees being pulled in the front. Your tires won't complain and the car should be very well mannered.

I'm thinking that the 18x8 +45 should be flush, like the rear, without having to mess up the alignment with a lot of camber.

IIRC the issue with this car is not too much "safety under-steer". It is the opposite, the tail can come out at almost any speed. I do have more camber in the rear, because it can't be adjusted out after the spring install. Hopefully the rear camber will make the car neutral.

I've already order the 18x8 wheels. I will post up the difference when I get one of them mounted, for a side to side comparison!

At least get +35 front
I was looking at some Gram Lights in the same fitment but got the 8.5's instead, too good of deal to pass up.
