Remus Exhaust system

I got this last night, prices and quality seem pretty good, and fitment is included in the price in JHB.

Remus are very good, pricey, do they have a sound clip or vid?

JouMaSeHoes 12-06-2012 05:20 AM

I have mailed Deon to ask for sound/video clips.

I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised with their prices, I was expecting it to be more!

Best you phone your local dealership and see what they have to say about warranty issues when fitting this on. Some dealerships and TSA customer care have different views on warranty coverage.

My Dealership seem pretty willing to go along, but they will let me know.

And on that note, keep the weekend of the 26-27 January open. I'll keep you posted...

I need to find a dealership in jhb like that :)
26 - 27 jan, arrgghhh wont be in jhb during that time...(secretly wishing it not a track day) :(

R8000 smells like a bargain to me. Much cheaper than importing any other system. :)

That is my main concern. It's VERY easy for a dealership to say it's "okay" then a year down the line the engine blows, TSA sends someone to investigate and they refuse to honor the warranty claim because the car is modified.

Forget about the dealer, if you've got "permission" from TSA then you're good to go.

Thought so too, I had a look on importparts and a comparable Perrin system came to around 18k, the others were around the same or more.

Yep, it's crazy. I still like the Greddy one the most. Sounds awesome and it's probably the cheapest of the bunch but shipping is a killer. I think the quote I got was $1000...to ship a $700 zorst. Ouch!

JouMaSeHoes 12-06-2012 12:37 PM

Deon from Remus got back to me, they don't have clip yet but he'll make one soon.
