Project Mu
Has anyone had any experience with these brake pads?
Keen to pick a set up to match my DBA T3 4000 ClubSpec rotors, but not sure if they're really worth $200 a set. Cheers  |
The dealer I bought my 86 from had them on his GTS he flogged around winton. A bit noisy when cold, but stopping power was great, no fade, still had plenty of meat on them afterwards too - i saw them :)

Cheers.

Also neither you nor RyleyMA61 specify which Project Mu pads. According to their website there are 3 to choose from. |
From everything I heard about them 1st hand, they are amazing
I'm putting remsa (europe not usa) pads in on Friday, lets see how they go. From what I have seen and read about them, amazing, but very dusty |

It's okay Captain Snooze, I know you like to put your 2 cents in on each of my posts. I'm use to it by now.
|
But you are not addressing my concern. Which Project Mus are you referring to? Are you suggesting that all 3 types available for the 86/BRZ have the same characteristics?
|
NS
|
Ah. Ok. According to their website Type NS are $179 so I am assuming you are referring to those. According to their site "with low noise/dust properties".
|
Those are the ones...
But then again, Hawk do ceramic HP pads with low dust properties... They're half the price too... |
NS are not really that great.. you are paying mostly for the Pmu name ..
its like project MU greenstuff. 0- 400C only! If you have no money.. get Intima SR6300.. 280 for a FULL SET front and rear - 700 degree pad. :) HC+ are good. :) |
I won't be tracking :-)
|
whats wrong with standard pads?
