Stream music from smart phone to car via bluetooth
Is this possible?
|
Yes.. you just sync the phone to the headunit. Switch the headunit to the bluetooth option and then stream from your phone. Its in the huge manual that was provided.

Thanks.. havent even had the chance to read the manual yet

I'm pretty pleased with the FR-S stock unit in this regards. It stops the music/podcast on the phone when you turn the car off, and resumes where you left off when you get back in. You can also pause, skip and fast forward (etc) with the head unit.

Make sure to test the different apps before you go driving. One of my music apps allows full functionality, while another is limited to only skipping ahead.
Pandora only allows for skipping ahead, but other music streaming services might work better. Haven't tried any other services yet. |

Android 4.2 has been giving me problems with BT connections. It randomly fails to connect and I have to restart the phone. Anyone else having these issues.
