These guys should just leave the words "Ever" out of their list titles and the world be a much happier place. Somebody ought to shoot this dude in his mouth and cut off his right hand.

Where are the;

Lamborghini/Italdesign Cala?

Toyota/Giugiaro Volta?

**ugh** I could think of so many better concept and production cars in the history of autos.

Anyway, as an aside the FT-HS and FT-86 share a lot of similar lines.... are they different enough to bring both to production? Considering of course the FT-HS needs some cleaning up of the front and back.

I, for one, would have absolutely been one of the first in line to have bought the FT-HS if they could have delivered that 400hp, 0-60 in 4.0, 40mpg, $40K car as premised! I guess that was wishful thinking on Toyota's part.

I would take 30mpg with those numbers. The HS has a lot of nifty details that would be great in a production sports car. The worlds first REAL hybrid sports car in fact. Could be real innovative... ultra-capacitors... KERS type push to pass button... possibilities are endless.

Would kill for that trick roof and awesome rim design too, CF or not.

Yeah, a lot of us were banking on the FT-HS making it to production as the new Supra.

I still should imo. Toyota shouldn't stop with just the FT-86....this is an entry level marketed Sports car. Toyota is still lacking a flagship high-end sports car. Its lacking the Supra. :cry:

:word:

I'm going to do my part and generate a sale of an FT-86 as a means to an end to get a supra....

Unless I come into a windfall of money and get two LFAs. In that case, the Supra can suck it. :bellyroll:

3.9L V10 6sp MT was it?
Cala had smooth design... but it reminded me of Ferrari, so I wasn't really fan.

& here's the pic that looks like Cala (Ferrari F430)

You do realize the Cala came out before even the F360 modena, right? Almost 5 yrs before if I'm not mistaken...

Good point. I guess, Ferrari rob the concept.
