So What do you Listen to while Driving?

Yep, Very bored and Studying for finals (Hence the reason why its 4am est) haha So i'm trying to take a break and distract myself with random questions. SOOO! This is what I decided to do! Post some Songs that make you feel like the world is yours when your driving around (And I know you know that feeling, If not... you need to do some soul searching) Haha

Engine, wind, and tire noise. Mostly engine.

the radio

Anything but country and hiphop these days.

This will sound pretty cliche, but I like Dubstep for driving. Most of the time it's just upbeat enough to be the perfect soundtrack for some good driving...I like almost all Dubstep, but prefer a lot of the smaller unknown groups to the staples like Excision, Skrillex, etc.

I've always been a radio on guy. I even had radios in some of my motorcycles that often were turned on. I can't quite figure out why but I don't play the radio in my FR-S. Though the boxer engine doesn't sound that much different I guess there's enough of a difference that I prefer that sound over the sound of the radio.

Mostly dnb & dubstep so i don't have to listen to the whining diff and rattling stuff.

I listen to EVERYTHING. In my truck I had Metallica's Black Album in the CD changer as a backup but spent most of my time listening to electro, dubstep, and rap. Recently I've really liked the blossoming "trap" genre (look up Original Don Flosstradamus remix and wear good bass heavy headphones). However, the FRS is also my first vehicle with HD radio and I LOVE it, Kansas City has awesome radio stations and hearing them in HD makes me perfectly okay with listening to the radio occasionally.

EDIT: By everything I mean everything: my presets are as such: 1 country station, 1 oldies station, 2 rap stations, 1 rock station, 1 alternative station, 1 top 40. Producing music has made me appreciate something in every genre.

I listen to my ipod, and I have a little bit of everything on it. My favorite driving songs.

Eminem - Renegade
Immortal Technique - Obnoxious
Incubus - Warning
Incubus - Favorite Things
Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze
Killswitch Engage - My Curse
M.I.A. - Hombre
M.I.A. - Paper Planes (remix)
The Offspring - The Kids Aren't Alright
Phantom Planet - California
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Especially In Michigan

None of the crap posted in this thread of course.

Just kidding.

I'm a bit of a music snob.
It goes from Death Metal...

Hate to be that guy, but its rare for me to find good new music. I'm very open to everything, though lately nothing good has really caught my attention...cept maybe Pile and Tame Impala.

Beyer Subaru 12-04-2012 06:07 PM

Mostly dubstep these days.

I couldn't agree more. Music now-a-days just isn't as good as it used to be. You used to have to be talented to get noticed, now so many record companies just care about the look of the band, not the music.

Sinthra 12-04-2012 08:45 PM

Yea, It's about everything these days! But I know what you mean by listening the engine and such. Ever since I got my FR-S I've actually enjoyed the sound of the car everynow and then... I guess that's what happens when you find a car you absolutly love! Lol Though if I had to listen to music It would def be Dubstep.
