Get your GT86 for only 25 cents!
Simraceway has added the GT86 to its free (for the starter edition) online racing game - although they don't seem to value it much, as it only costs $.25! Can't vouch for the sim personally, but might try it out now, the model looks good...

Interesting...though not much for online sims these days. Following the information on that site though I see Simbin is planning on releasing GTR3 - I sure hope it follows the path/code of GTR/GTR2 (best sports car racing sims made) and not the Race/Evolution titles...

^ Yes, hoping the best for GTR3 as well, I totally agree that GTR2 is a lot better than Race07/Evolution. Tried rFactor2 beta, found it to be a disaster to date (~20fps), got a refund. Pcars alpha looking promising though, already it's a lot of fun.
Installed Simraceway and bought the GT86, but yet to try it out - Simraceway looks like a reworking of rFactor. It can be played offline. |
Finally tried this out - and was very pleasantly surprised. The sim engine is clearly an updated version of rFactor. They've really nailed the force feedback settings for the G25/G27 wheels. The look, sounds, and handling of the GT86 were all pretty much as I remembered them from my test drives - especially the handling, which was terrific. If any owner tests it out with a decent wheel, I'd be interested in their feedback re its accuracy.

I bought this as well. I've been using my ps3 controller it works ok if you put the steering assist on medium.
