Virginia Beach - Opti Coat Pro

From December 18th to 20th, we have Opti Coat Pro professional coming down to Virginia Beach. he will be doing a few cars while he is down here visiting family and seeing if anyone else is interested locally in the VB area. If you're unsure of what OCP is, there are a few youtube videos of the complete process.

The price is $400. He will wash, decontaminate, clean the wheels, dress the tires, 1 step polish, and apply Opti Coat to the paint.

There is a lifetime warranty available for an additional $125. Optimum has also released a headlamp coating which is $50 additional if you choose to have that applied to the head and fog lamps. The wheels are also $100 additional.

We have two BRZ's(Mine and ScottDRFT) that are being done. He will have a rental car to travel if you have a garage to have it done in, or you are welcome to come over to my house and have it done. Each car will take a few hours, but again he'll be here from the 18th till the 20th, so he will have plenty of time.

IMPORTANT! He will require a $200 deposit to get an idea of how many cars he will be doing before he books the trip. Then pay the remaining $200 when he is down here. He will be booking the trip very soon, so if possible, anyone who is interested will need to make the deposit preferably by tomorrow or as soon as possible. You can PM me for more info. Thanks,

- Alex

Tempting, but I have a clear bra on a lot of panels....

ScottDRFT 12-04-2012 12:10 PM

I was considering putting a bra on the car, but I like how this application covers the entire car. It's also pretty scratch resistant and hydrophobic =]

I'm sure if you get the money by the time he comes down, and if he has the time, he would still do your car.

VA Beach is a bit far but I've got to find a shop out here who does this! I wonder how it reacts when damaged. Doesnt seem like it would be super easy to fix.

ScottDRFT 12-06-2012 09:01 PM

If there is a repair done and the ocp is removed, you just have to have it reapplied in that spot.

ScottDRFT 12-06-2012 09:43 PM

The more the merrier!

Ok, not bad then. I was thinking it was more of a clear-bra type deal.
