Good question and I'll give you a very honest answer.

I had $600 of Subaru funny money (through Chase) that was expiring. I needed to buy something at the dealership that wasn't crap that I could sell on.

At this point, I don't really need the kit, and I'm getting married next year. I would rather have the cash.
