Ok so in my other thread I posted some in the garage crappy pictures of my new carbon hood and spoiler and i figured that it would just be better to have a new thread with good pics right up front.

Excellent photos, i really like the spoilers and i can't decide on the hood i would probably like it better personally painted but it's almost a shame to do so. That's my major dilemma with CF parts.

Yeah I know that feeling, the carbon looks so damn good, but in the end painting it and leaving the vents clear carbon will look sick as hell. Crazy thing about the pictures is its all point and shoot Sony CyberShot 18.1Mp, wish I could stop spending money on the car and buy an SLR but that aint happening ;)

Yeah it doesn't show on their site, call them up ask for Sean, tell them Gerden sent ya and you want pricing on Seibon parts...lets just say I saved close to $400 bucks off MSRP for the 3 pieces i have so far...

Just got my seibon spoiler today, any mounting tips?
Use the 3m tape?
I was surprised no mounting tape was supplied.

Yeah I went to AutoZone and picked up a roll of 3M body moulding tape, works great, just make sure to apply pressure for a few minutes to really get it to stick. Mine are really on there right now. Also make sure to remove any wax and oil from the paint.

Will do, it's just hard to take clear pics of it due to the contrast between the whiteroof and the black window with the wing in between.

Did you weigh your aluminum hood and cf hood to see how much less if any the cf one weighed? Im curious since I may invest in the DV style hood.

No I havent had a chance yet I'm behind on a bunch of stuff so she's been sulking in the garage for the past couple days. I will try to weigh the hoods this week but if I don't get to it I dont get to it. The carbon is noticeably lighter than the stock hood, but it's not a huge decrease since the stock hood is already super light.

Looks great! I'm digging that hood. We got some stuff headed in for our FRS as well.

What did you use to paint the plastic under your hood red?
