NBA Season Returns..

So, as you know there was a lockout for 149 days and agreement has been reached. It is expected to start Christmas Day. Now that is said and done. Who do you think will win next season?

I'm from NY so i'm just hoping the Knicks return to the playoffs.

It's still weird to me that people care about this stuff. I guess I just don't understand the draw of team sports.

I don't care much about basketball, but I'm a huge Ray Allen fan so I'm rooting for my Celtics. I just don't know what they are doing about their center, I think it was a major downfall at the end of last season. That and their bench was less than desirable, Jeff Green was a big disappointment.

I'm not the biggest basketball fan either but after watching the NBA I had to say it was fun to watch. However, watching basketball on tv is boring and I only watch on Christmas Day.

:word: At this point, I could care less to be honest.

There is a big NBA fanbase here so it's a good thing they were able to finally reach an agreement. A triple header on Christmas day!

People who usually knock a sport are usually those who either never played a sport in their life. Sucks b/c growing up, playing sports was a given and an important aspect in child development.

I wouldn't have cared if the season had been completely cancelled. With that being said, I am glad they reached a deal because there are a ton of people this benefits besides the greedy owners and whiney players (think stadium workers, concessions, merchandising, sports bars, ticket brokers, travel companies, etc).

i'll agree w/ RRnold. i actually wasn't interested in basketball or any sport really until i spent a summer with nothing to do but play it. once you develop a passion for playing you can really appreciate the skill level of pros. that's what makes it fun to watch. i'm glad the whole mess is over with, i've been experiencing withdrawal since october...

I've been keeping up with college basketball lately, but I'm glad the NBA finally made it back.

i dont think its fair to complain about the players being greedy. any body of that caliber in a profession with that kind of demand is entitled to what they demand. besides, they are the reason for all the other auxillary economic benefits.

Also, I don't think Kobe wanted to miss another 1.1 million dollar check...
