Once I take off the CF hood to get it painted I'll weigh it for a comparison, but based on my highly tuned sense of weight, the CF hood is marginally lighter than the stock hood. To be honest though, buying one of these hoods for weight savings purposes is kinda moot. Its alot of money for little weight reduction, I bought mine solely for the cosmetic aspect. The stock hood just looks too plain and unexciting while this Seibon hood just looks like pure sex on this car. I guess its nice that there is a weight reduction, but the stock hood is super light (I removed and installed the hood by myself in about 20 minutes). Anyways, I am gonna clean her up right now so I can take some really good pics today!
