Strange noise at 2k RPMs
 

Forewarning, I'm a girl and i know nothing about engines. so please be gentle...
My car is less than a month old, 1300 miles, auto trans.
The second I hit 2000 RPMs while pressing the accelerator, I hear a noise that I can only describe like this: it sounds like something stuck in a fan. Like when you hold a piece of paper in a box fan... The noise it makes is pretty much the same noise I'm hearing. Just noticed it yesterday because my radio wasn't on. My radio is always on, so it could have been making the noise the day I bought it. If I take my foot off the gas, I don't hear it, no matter what rpm I'm at.

Could be the same noise talked about in these threads, but I don't know if AT makes the same noise. These threads talk about MT.
