Local Dealership Service Issues

I was wondering if anyone else was having issues with service departments at their local dealerships? I have been to the same dealership twice for service and both times I left extremely unsatisfied.

And has anyone had excellent service anywhere? Want to recommend an advisor in the Bellevue area?

I have been to the Puyallup one for TPMS issue. They took care of the issue under 30 min.
Although when I tried to buy a TRD exhaust from Toyota Puyallup about a month ago, they said that part wasn't available. It seemed like they didn't know what I was talking about.
So I contacted the one in Olympia (because I knew the exhaust was already available plus I work in Olympia) and they ordered and installed it for me within a week. And I was quite satisfied with their service.

To make a story short, I can't complain about Toyota Puyallup but it seems Toyota Olympia knows more about our cars and they were more professional.
But Olympia is quite far from Bellevue...

My parents have been servicing their Camry at Toyota of Seattle for a while, and they love it. I'll be bringing my FRS there soon for my first free service, and hopefully they'll do a good job... I'll definitely report back!

Please do!

Chaplins Subaru was ok. They scared me for a bit since they didn't know who made the BRZ. I overheard them asking around when I brouht my car for service: "who makes the BRZ, toyota, subaru or scion?"

But nothing was wrong after the service. Satisfied but not impressed if you catch my drift....hahaha drift, I'm hillarious :)

Scion/Toyota of Kirkland has been bad ass, talk with Chris if you go there. He's an FR-S owner and enthusiast, nice guy too.

I just moved to Issaquah so now Bellevue Toyota/Scion is closer to me (on my way to work when I get off 90 on 148th), We'll see how there service goes. Might stay with Scion of Kirkland if the service isn't as good.

In short, I'd recommend Kirkland Scion and Chris there to anyone!

You're talking about Michael's Toyota, right? I purchased my car there and I think they're just okay. They sold my car with a bunch of "dealer add-ons," (window tints, rims, etc.) but the only reason I didn't attempt to negotiate was that I was going in that direction eventually.

The first strike was that there were streaks on the inside of the door panels after the window tint install. It took about 3 weeks for them to get back to me and get it cleaned, and it ended up being soap and water. You'd think they did this kinda stuff all the time.... Sloppy work, if you ask me.

The second strike was the fact that they had put about 30 miles on the car during the time they had it for the add-on installation, which I later found out that they took the car up to Kirkland to install the leather. Couldn't they have told me that in the first place? How do I know how well they treated my car on the drive to and from Kirkland?

AAAAAND the third strike: I wanted to switch back to the stock wheels/tires for the Gymkhana Drift event #2 and I didn't have the right connector to take off the aftermarket lug nuts. Or so I thought.... luckily someone at the event had the right tool and helped me out, but then I found the connector IN MY GLOVE BOX. I swear no one told me this when I picked up the car from the wheel install...

Well, that ended up being a novel. My parents have been taking their Camry to Toyota of Seattle for a long time and trust their mechanics, so I'll be taking my car there for the first service. I'd like to milk that Scion Boost thing for all it's worth, as long as I can get good service. There's also @Ishii Motors over on Bellevue Auto Row! : )

No clue the name of it. However Scion of Kirkland I can recommend. Bellevue I have no experience with.

I was going to purchase at Michaels in Bellevue because that's where we got our Tc. But they told me I had to go somewhere else if I wanted stock. I couldn't believe they'd actually turn away a sale and especially a repeat customer! They really messed up because if I ever want to buy another Toyota I won't be going there!
