how do I delete a post?
 
I edited a post and accidentaly posted it twice. I do not see how to delete.

Threads can't be deleted, only posts in them. PM a mod and they'll take care of it for you.

threads can be closed but not deleted

click thread tools, mark close thread and click perform action

You need a certain amount of post before you can create your own thread.
