Is there ice preventing it from moving or is it just not responding?

Theres a tread about this you gotta hold the buttons down to reset

Shit Luck 11-28-2012 11:19 AM

Yeah I tried to reset to no avail.
Its at the dealership now.

gmookher 11-28-2012 11:36 AM

verdict?

It threw a code was the answer I got. No bill as its under warranty is what I was told.
Not sure what exactly they did but they had it for 4 hours.

mezdup 11-28-2012 10:00 PM

jeez, 4 hours? quick tip with the reset as i didn't realize it at first. door needs to be closed before you try it.

They said the window threw a code?? Never heard of that.

Shit Luck 11-29-2012 07:58 AM

Yeah.... A switch failure code. Never heard of it before either. I was a tech for awhile and it was new to me too.
No snow this morning and windows are non operational again.
Starting to think there is a design flaw.

anyone also notice that the windows don't move down when opening the door?

I haven't tried to see if the windows are operational, otherwise, today. I do know that the windows were iced over after that little bit of snow we got two days ago and I heard the window try to open the small amount. Not sure if that messed anything up. I'll try in an hour or so when I go out for lunch.

That happend to me once to and afterwards the AUTO up down stopped working. I did a reset and it worked fine again.

Dealership wants the car for a few days, yet says my issue does t warrant a loaner car. wtf?
Anyway I tried doing a reset a few times on my own today and I am stuck with windows that are down and won't return up now.

OK, yeah now that it's dark I was able to see the switches were blinking. Reset it and they work fine now.

I think I fixed my issue....
I moved a bunch of shit out of my garage to make room for the car.
