Exhaust that sounds most like a Subaru?

What exhaust system do you think sounds most like a Subaru?

I think ours does a pretty good job of it.

The stock exhaust sounds exactly like our Subaru Legacy.

since it's a boxer motor, it's going to sound like a subaru regardless. however, you want the wrx/sti sound, which comes from having an unequal length header. so add your full exhaust of choice, and then an unequal length header :)

You also have to remember that our engine is much smaller than the wrx so getting that very deep rumble probably isn't likely.

Also our compressions ratio is 4 points higher than that of a ej20, will make the exhaust more chrisp and sharp and a little less deep. With dropped compression, uel headers and exhaust youll be as close as you will ever get.

No spinny muffler (turbo) in these cars either. A turbo will make exhaust quieter and drop the tone a bit too.

A brz 2.0 is smaller than a wrx 2.0? Explain yourself.

The WRX has had a 2.5 liter since the 2006 model year

So? My 2.0 wrx sounds identical to a 2.5 with turbo back.
