I'm starting to pick up photography as a hobby. Would you guys mind sharing good photoshoot spots here in SoCal?

lol messed up. I pass by skid row from time to time. haha and btw, i don't think anyone would shoot at a driver/biker with a bunch of cameras to spot him/her.

Scott, thanks very much. I was close to loosing hope on this forum.

Have you been around the Long Beach Harbor specifically in the industrial port/transport areas? I wanted to try the industrial areas near San Pedro as well. Do you have any idea how the access is around there?

:D Well I JUST joined this forum so I may not be an accurate representation of how things usually are around here...

Anyway, the harbor area isn't too hard to shoot in as long as you go on the weekends. Weekdays it's busy as hell since there's 18-wheelers and other misc traffic everywhere, but it's pretty much EMPTY on weekends. You only need to watch out for harbor patrol and most of the time they're cool unless you're doing stupid things (donuts, burnouts, etc). This is only from my experience shooting on the LB side though. I've never ventured into the San Pedro Harbor/Port of LA.

Let me know if you need any other ideas! I've been shooting cars in SoCal for many, many years now.
