It actually looks a lot brighter in flesh then they are on photos to be honest with you. I was also originally worried about the light output wasn't enough myself as well but once it was on it actually is too bad

Oh yes this is at Cecil hills davey haha

No his orange lights are lit up when his headlights are turned on full

Red light up with brake and signal indicators are on

What do yours do when you have headlights on full, is it orange alone or red lamp on ?

Just post a pic of your tails when head lights are turned on all the way please, this will eliminate alot of confusion regarding the wiring of these tail lights

Thanks

A lot of people asking whether these lights are illegal or not. And yes, they are illegal in basically every state (under the NCOP Part 5.1). Some time ago I was interested in getting these too, but should a rear end accident ever occur I think you would definitely find yourself up shit creek...

They look pretty cool though :)

Exactly... Black out the chrome... Or dark grey front and rear lights.

I just want to crack open the factory sealed lights though. :sigh:

don't mind these...

I have these too. Any issues with water coming into the trunk for you? These aftermarket lights aren't exactly sealed against the bodywork.

omgwtfbbqsauce 01-06-2013 03:31 AM

Nope they are fine, heres more photo's:

Similar to the 06-09 MX5 NCs, we have the altezza looking rear lights. Some guys laminex them black or red. Two of my friends have opened them up and painted parts of them black too. But yeah the full laminex is illegal and may attract attention. But what isn't illegal these days!?
