I have these too. Any issues with water coming into the trunk for you? These aftermarket lights aren't exactly sealed against the bodywork.

Similar to the 06-09 MX5 NCs, we have the altezza looking rear lights. Some guys laminex them black or red. Two of my friends have opened them up and painted parts of them black too. But yeah the full laminex is illegal and may attract attention. But what isn't illegal these days!?

Do they meet ADR?!? If so i'd be happy to pay just for that fact so i can keep my insurance if someone re-ends me
