road noise

I have been noticing my car letting more and more road noise in, I have subs so I leave my back seat down most of the time to keep the trunk rattling down, but man it is horribly loud(road noise) any body have any permanent fixes

Before its said I know I can put the seat up but it's still bad up

No issues with road noise at all... Sorry.

It's a sports car and they kept weight down by doing very little sound deadening. I mean open the hood and you can see the fender liners it's not going to be quiet.

Bust out the sound deadener and get to stickin.. trunk lid, back seats, front doors, rear wheel fenders, spare tire housing all could use some well placed deadener..

Yup, the car is loud, but like JoeBoxer said it's a sports car. With the back seats upright I've measured in the mid 90 decibels @ ~75mph using an android app (super scientific I know). This was louder than my Mazda 3 rental car. I'm probably going to add a bit of sound deadening material when I upgrade my sound system.

Fatmat did the trick for me and made it tolerable for extended trips.

Hell ya guys thanks for the tips , I just did a 1400 mile round trip and it was loud, especially here in Texas where every 5 miles is a different patch of road

Gotta' love Texas, hehe... :D

I actually happen to wish there was more road noise to this car.

As I've been told before, road noise = RACECAR  ;)

If you honestly feel it's really an abnormal road noise, you may want to get a second opinion from the dealer, perhaps.

Happy motoring!

Drive it down a gravel road for a few miles. Then, by comparison, the paved roads will sound deathly quiet!

A lot of effort was made to keep this car light, and sound deadening is an obvious casualty. Wait till you get in a sleet or hailstorm!

Why do people care so much about road noise? I don't get it. Turn the volume up. BAM

Guess you have never tried to have a conversation with a lady friend going about 85. Radio works great when I'm alone but, when the fiancee's in the car the radios a no go
