Not sure if anyone has already posted about this, but www.subaru.com has an announcement about the BRZ. There's not really any new info, but what they DON'T seem to mention is anything about Toyota or Yamaha.

The 2.0-litre SUBARU BOXER engine was overhauled right down to its basic structure and retuned with advanced D-4S injection to enhance its natural smoothness and torque. Both direct and indirect injection on each cylinder optimises the air and fuel mixture, for greater fuel efficiency and power."

Yup, no mention of Toyota.

Why would they mentioned anything about Toyota on Subaru.com? On Scion.com, they don't mentioned anything about the BRZ.

"the U.S. production model will be unveiled at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show."

Will we have to wait until then for pricing?

So will know by then at Detroit in January. That is cool news.

Damn if they really are going to show the retail place only at local auto show I'll have to wait till April for the Vancouver one, and by that time it should be out already >_>. Hopefully the price for JDM and the US can give me a good estimate on the Canadian pricing.

January is just right around the cornerrrrrrrr... 1 more month.. anticipation is a BIZATCH
