How long did it take after delivery of your FRS/BRZ before you got pulled over?

I'm not sure if I'm setting and record for this one....Just got my FRS at about 12 noon today and at about 1am I got pulled over when Toronto Police were patrolling a mall. I saw them following me and they were kept waiting for me to leave the mall on to a public road before lighting things up. Doesn't help that it's in Firestorm of course....

So right now my time is 13 hours and about 130kms on the odo.:iono:

Anyone else care to chime in with their times?

Edit: They stopped me since they saw me driving in the mall (i was driving normally) and I drove up to pick up one of my friends at the restaurant door. It was about the time 1:30am that people leave the bars there. He was trying to determine if I was drinking...they let me go after.

Both the provincial police and Toronto police were out pretty hard yesterday night looking for drunk driving. I forgot to say that this was after a spot check about 4 hours before at 10pm.

My friend thinks it could be because of him...I think it could be because of the red car.

ouch that sucks ya got pulled over so soon :(
2800km and still haven't been....knock on wood

And did they fine you with something?

Haven't been pulled over, WRB BRZ since August.

Burrcold 11-25-2012 10:56 AM

Yeah why did they pull you over? I was at a light in Mississauga beside a cop car, and I looked over to see the officer giving me a thumbs up, while looking at car. :)

I gave him a little salute, and sloowly pulled away through the light on green. He made an immediate right.

If it's the RIDE programs, it's probably just random checks on people leaving the bars. And good on both of you for being responsible.

Did the cop comment on the car?

About 4 months and 6000km. Doing 170 on 401. Got fined for 15 km/h over speed limit.

Wattage 11-26-2012 12:28 PM

Damn 170?? Your lucky they didnt seize your car under that street racing law for being more than 50over the limit.

Smilez 11-26-2012 01:10 PM

I thought my first one was going to happen last night. Ghost car pulled a u-turn when he saw me, then followed me into a gas station. He just sat there in the corner of the lot while I filled up my car. Maybe he didn't follow me out because he was so shocked that I was a girl in a clearly mom-knitted sweater rather than the expected driver-type. Or maybe I was just being paranoid. Could go either way, really.

1 week exactly..
70 in a 50 zone (on ramp @ adelaide/dvp)

guy didn't write the correct fine, so i ignored the ticket and forced the error and it got thrown out

He didn't clock me on radar, because my detector didn't go off, so he knew he had no leg to stand on in court and just wrote me puniest infraction to get some bucks for the guv's coffers.

Got mine July 16th, got a little over 13000km and not pulled over once.

I have got a thumbs up from an SQ officer once while driving just under 120km/h on the 13.
Should of tested if he could catch me in his Charger. :)
