After a spectacular fall in Minnesota, it's finally time to relent and put the snows on:

205/55/16 Nitto SN2 winter tires on Impreza WRX rims. Let it snow!!

Please don't let it snow lol. Looks good. I drove home from Duluth in the blizzard on Thanksgiving night with the snow tires on my FRS, and besided visability issues, I did not have a problem with the car. I hope the rest of the winter goes this smoothly.

The stocks are my winter wheels.

What are the width and offset of those 16" Impreza wheels?

I don't know about that! There are some pretty snowy parts of CA, and I'm in one.

I was wondering why those wheels looked familiar. They were on my old WRX back in the day. :)

Very nice. This car, with proper snow tires, drives absolutely great in the snow. Control and balance are excellent. And -- it's super FUN as well!

2004 WRX wheels on FR-S?

A buddy of mine has a set of 2004 WRX wheels with brand new-ish winter tires that he is getting rid of and I'm thinking about taking them if they will fit. The only problem is I'm horrible with figuring offsets and the chart on here doesn't say whether the +53 with 6.5 width will work for sure. I also can not find the hub bore at all for the WRX wheels, so hopefully someone will be able to help here. From what I've found so far:

2004 WRX Wheels: 16x6.5 +53mm offset

2013 FR-S Wheels: 17X7 +48mm offset

So my real questions are will they fit? Will I need hubcentric rings to fit them properly? How far out/in will they sit compared to stock?

Thanks for the help :-D

Not my car. A quick google displayed this... I believe they bolt on. I am sure someone else here will have more detailed info. They make an inexpensive second set of wheels/winter setup.

I guess for winter wheels but otherwise :barf:

Agreed that they're not the best looking wheels on these cars, but he is only asking $400 for the set with rubber and they're in great shape. Difficult to pass up for a set of winter beaters.

Hopefully someone can confirm they bolt up no problem, but that pic is definitely helping ease my mind, and wallet ;)

They bolt on no problem. They are also hub centric to boot. :party0030:
