Recommend 12v Power - Ignition On
 

Hey guys, I searched but it wasn't clear. Can someone who actually knows recommend or list the 12v interior power supply(s) to tap into that is hot / live / comes on ONLY when the ignition / car is on? Any illustration would be most helpful. Recommended "add a fuse" to which existing fuse? Suggested grounding locations under the dash?

I am sure this info would be most helpful to many.

I just hard wired my radar detector and simply tap into one of the two fuses for the power plugs located in the fuse box up under the dash to the left of the steeing column. Ground was the bolt holding the fuse box (right in front of you when looking at the fuse box..can't miss it)

(To see the fuse box you have to get on the floor and look up under the dash)

I have a front and rear camera wired into mine and they run off the 12v stereo wire
