http://youtu.be/W7bB5WYqpsY
What do you think? Would you consider this as a cheap cosmetic upgrade? http://www.calipercovers.com/_e/2012_Scion_FR_S/product/31002-S-CUS/2012_Scion_FR_S_Custom_Caliper_Covers.htm |
Yep, I would consider that a cheap shit cosmetic upgrade.
Fake crap. |

they almost had a hit but they just made them too visually cheap looking.
the material is good quality and they work alright but they need to make the face look a little more high quality |
These were the type of comments I was expecting. Honest and straight. Also thought they were a bit expensive for what they are.
For "cheap junk" they sure cost alot! They look like $39.95 to me...
Never
NO lol
NO
Lol, $200+ for big colourful aluminum jelly beans in your wheels! No thanks...
F#%K NO!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDgq-K2oYLo Spend $200 on upgraded brake pads and fluid; don't be a poser. |
200$ you can paint your calipers and not be a toolbag lol
Should replace the badge on the car to Ferrari to make everything super fake!
NOOOOOOOOOOO
Wouldn't be bad in complete black to hide/subdue our smallish brakes. The company (MGP) argues that it reduces brake dust and helps reduce heat from brakes. I think their argument is flawed, as covering your brakes would probably increase brake temperatures. I guess a pro is that you can remove them and have stock looking brakes.
Hide the small brakes? These makes the rotors look even smaller!
There's a corvette in my neighborhood with them, from a good distance it doesn't look too bad but if you get anywhere near it, it looks so awful and cheesy.

I'd buy steelies and put hubcaps on them before I'd install caliper covers.
Fake = rice. Form over function is a no-no.
I have seen these on Audis, and I laughed. It was more tasteful, just had the S4 logo on it. Still completely useless.
HELL NO.
Next step is to Home Depot to buy a drill and drill some holes on the discs?

ZOMG your whip will be so tyte, y0! Don't forget a flamethrower kit and a front-mount air filter!!!!1 Yes, they used to make a front-mount air filter: http://www.avb-sports.be/files/produ...0/00010508.jpg |
They are made of aluminum and seem to mount right by the rear pad. I guess they could act like a heat sink and reduce temps a bit. That's not reason enough to bolt this garbage to an innocent car.
