Wouldn't be bad in complete black to hide/subdue our smallish brakes. The company (MGP) argues that it reduces brake dust and helps reduce heat from brakes. I think their argument is flawed, as covering your brakes would probably increase brake temperatures. I guess a pro is that you can remove them and have stock looking brakes.

Hide the small brakes? These makes the rotors look even smaller!

There's a corvette in my neighborhood with them, from a good distance it doesn't look too bad but if you get anywhere near it, it looks so awful and cheesy.

I have seen these on Audis, and I laughed. It was more tasteful, just had the S4 logo on it. Still completely useless.

They are made of aluminum and seem to mount right by the rear pad. I guess they could act like a heat sink and reduce temps a bit. That's not reason enough to bolt this garbage to an innocent car.
