Has Anyone Fixed the GPS?

I am STILL constantly losing signal, at the worst times, and never getting it back until I find an alternative or do it the old fashioned way.

This has happened in multiple states, at multiple times of day, even on perfectly clear days.

There is a TSB to fix this problem by moving the antenna that is behind the dash. My new BRZ (vin 604XXX range) must have the fix since it locks in instantanously, and never looses single, even in the garage.

Have you brought it back to the dealer for the fix??

Here is a link to the TSBs. Its the first one under BRZ:

Had a TSB applied monday. Yet to hear "GPS signal lost" since.

Was not at all aware of this or the TSBs thread, didn't even think to search for that. Love this forum! Thanks so much, will take it in this weekend.:burnrubber:

That is definitely good news, so far it has been my only complaint about the car (and a minor one, especially when I'm home and know where I am, lol).

Call them first. They still have to order special parts, but they should be able to order those w/o you going there. Just describe your symptoms and it should be enough for your dealer to order parts.
