FR-S/BRZ enthusiasts North of the GTA
 

I was just looking to guage how many ontario owners out there are in "central ontario". I know there's tons of events and enthusiasts in the GTA...but nothing for those of us in places like Barrie/Muskoka or Kawartha Lakes.

Is there enough interest in forming a "central Ontario" enthusiasts group as a sub category of this club?

I live in Toronto but am from Sudbury and was up there a few Weeks ago. To my surprise I saw not one, but two BRZs. Dunno if they're on the forums though.

Yeah....Up here in Barrie i've seen 2 Raven and three whiteout FR-S.....but being a major gateway to "cottage country" there's no way to know if they were local or just passing through.

Still looking for other central ontario owners that might like to meet up and share ideas.

If you're anywhere from durham region, simcoe county, city of kawartha lakes, Peterborough or other central location drop a line here.

While I may be close enough to the GTA to get in on their events I think central ontario is large and distinct enough to warrant its own group.

I'm in the Durham area. Bowmanville to be specific, car is put away for the winter.

Mine too CHUMPC4R. But you can bet that as soon as its warm enough ....i'll be busting mine out!

I currently live just west of BArrie but I grew up in Kawartha lakes...Fenelon Falls actually...and i'm back and forth all the time. With Mosport in central ON it might be a great way to get more people out.

Cottage is just south of Huntsville. Does that count? Live in Cambridge actually, maybe I can be an honourary member. lol

That's one of the realities of living in cottage country. The summer population always goes up.

But hell ....cambridge is only a couple hours from where I am..... as is huntsville.

Really? I have a WRB BRZ sport tech. Mine is also put away for the winter. You may have seen it around last summer. Damn, here I'm thinking I have the only one in the Durham region, let alone in the same town lol

i bought mine end of September into October sometime.. don't remember. I havn't seen your car, but likely will this season. I've seen an orange/red not sure in the dark in courtice in the same driveway a couple of times and I just saw a white one with steelies and snows in Whitby the other day.

Mine is up on Stands getting a slew of bushings and suspension braces, along with swapping my exhaust, also doing stainless brake lines, better fluid and pads for track use.
