Help: Recommend Car Shipping Service?

Can anyone recommend a car shipping company? I'm shipping my BRZ from WI to Los Angeles, hoping for something enclosed.

Thanks in Advance!

I've had some really good service from Dependable Auto Shippers, and one really bad shipment. I think they take better care of you if you pony up for enclosed transport; otherwise, you're just some plebe who needs his junk moved.

I too have had a few good experience with Dependable Auto Shippers. And I agree with your statement above that paying more for enclosed service probably gets better service too. Kinda like UPS Ground versus Overnight.

Never used them, but I see Horseless Carriage a lot. They cater to enthusiast cars.

Cheap plane ticket(dealer might even pick you up from airport), gas money, consumables money, one night at a Motel 6.

That will probably cost less than shipping the car...and you get to break it in quickly.

2200 miles to LA. I figured I could do 800 a day, so it would still probably be three days -- and with the CEL issues floating around I didn't risk being stuck in the middle of some cornhuskers in Nebraska. Plus -- snow in Colorado -- knowing my luck I'd be a rock magnet before the clear bra went on.

I did think about it though, delivery is gonna take at least two weeks now.

I guess I'll just have to take a long road trip this summer instead. :party0030:

I didn't realize it was THAT far...not sure I'd want to drive that much either. I've done almost exactly half that and had fun, but doubling it would be a chore.

I've used " Exotic Car Transport " a few times with very good success and rates. Although they are out of Orlando, Florida, they cover the nation. 800-766-8797

FYI: Sometimes it is worth it to pay a bit more to have top quality. Enclosed transport is the way to go for a new car in my opinion.

I have used a broker twice - and recommended him to a few friends who used him - there are a lot of shady characters in the business. This guy is legit, honest, responsive. He wasn't the cheapest, but by only $50 or so when I compared it.

Check Bidux website, I had my cars shipped with this company twice from New Jersey to Texas. I dont remember exactly how much it cost me but I can say that their prices are relatively low.
