Mpg display

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the dash display from l/100km to mpg? Looked in the manual and couldn't find anything. I tried to see if you can change it the same way you add the gear indicator but to no avail.

The button above the ODO and DISP buttons should switch between metric and standard. I never checked to see if it changed the mileage though..

Tried that, stands to reason it would but it doesn't.

Do you mean kilometers/Liter to Miles/gallon? as in distance/fuel quantity.

" l/100km to mpg" doesn't make sense this interprets 'fuel quantity/distance' and 'distance/fuel quantity'. One must be inversed.

My car is winterized so I cannot answer your intended question but maybe someone else can help. But you've got to get your question correct.

Of course it does. That's a standard measure of fuel efficiency in metric countries.

I think that display changes to mpg when you switch the speedo to show miles/hour.

Liter / Km is not the same as Km / Liter

By golly, you're right. And pounds per square inch isn't the same as square inches per pound!

Metric countries measure fuel consumption in liters per 100 kilometers. Small numbers are better than big numbers. What's so hard to understand?

That does not compute in some heads, lol.

I guess men in countries that use the metric system are trying to feel better about themselves ;)

Hey it's cold up here what can I say lol. I just hate having to do math to figure out my mpg and I'm assuming American cars are in mpg. Gotta be a simple way to change it.

Dipstik-sportech 11-20-2012 03:25 PM

I assume no Canadians have looked into this.

1 miles / gallon (US) equals 235.2 Liters / 100 kilometers

(35 mpg = 6.72 L/100Km)

Rayme 11-22-2012 02:50 PM

I found no way to change mine to MPG.

Dipstik-sportech 11-22-2012 03:19 PM

Gotta be a setting in the computer then, wonder if the dealer would switch it?
