Detail and Update Specific Thread?

I feel this forum gets off-topic and clouded by irrelevant bickering non-stop. We come here to find out new information about our latest Tuners, Superchargers, Turbos, Exhausts etc just to find out that one guy loves one company and the other guy hates your grandma.

We need a bit more consolidated and easy to read feed of information that does not get clouded by nonsense. Is there anyway we can do this? Have a new thread started to only allow authorized vendors participate and make a clear troll-free easy to read thread full of what information we seek?

I'm just spit balling and looking to see if there is anything we can do. Or this could be a completely pointless effort to help everyone out, your call. :happy0180:

As long as you're not looking for a rolling advertisement, I'm all for it. But I feel a lot of people confuse the bickering with people who are bringing up legitimate concerns/questions/comparisons.

If you're going to post a build thread about a product, then anything involving concerns/questions/comparisons with that product should be perfectly acceptable. If it bothers you that much as a reader to see opposing views, then don't read it.

So yea, there's a lot of crap, but there are also a lot of good points too! I'm all for trying to clean the crap out so long as we don't clean the good out with it.

I love comments and advise from te community to better the outcome of a product, but when theres 5 pages of irrelevant talk going on it gets annoying. Maybe a section of most commonly asked questions and concerns organized into a FAQ section? I dunno.

I hate scrolling through the BS, I find myself always skipping other people's posts and just seeing what the OP is saying...

We are talking about a forum here right?

What we really need is Troll Repellent!

One of the other forums I frequent separated the turbo from the superchargers into separate categories. It worked well to stem the debating between the two which cut the clutter/arguing/bashing by quite a bit.

I think that might work well here.
