I can but it's like explaining how to play baseball there so many different variable that I can't possibley outline them all but I'll explain the basic steps. Polishing is best learnt by doing not reading.
But the Meguiars Griots Garage Polisher pack with buffing pads from Detailers Domain.
Use M205 with a green pad to take out minor scuffs and swirls
Yellow pad with M105 take take out heavier defects.
Now you have to know there are so many variables in paint and environment condition that those combinations may not work.
My advice, get a Pro to OptiGuard you paint while polishing out all defects and LEARN HOW TO WASH AND DRY PROPERLY. You may not ever see another swirl again, all you have to do is to maintain what the detailer did for you.
If you need advice on who the best in or around your area is PM, I'll hook you up.
If your interested in learning detailing for yourself visit DetailingBliss.com that place is the best learn from the ground up.
