Help Needed: Wheel Search.

I'm looking for some lightweight (9-12lbs) 15x7 wheels in a 5x100 bolt pattern and i'm having a pretty rough time. I'm looking for something pretty affordable, as well. Preferably less than $200 a wheel. I was banking on the RPF1, but their 15x7s are only 4x100 pattern.

Anyone know of any brands/models i might have overlooked? (I checked Enkei, 949 Racing, Kosei, and Rota.)

Thanks in advance.

Enkeis are generally the cheapest for what you're looking for. :/

From what I've found at least. lol

Unless you want some imitation stuff... *cough* Rotas *cough*

Right, but Enkei doesn't have my preferred size.

How about something like this:

Edit: 6.5", my bad...

I appreciate your participation. However, 15.5lbs is a tad high for what i'm looking for. Also, i'm not fond of wheels with fake rivets on them. (I know that may be trivial.) However, $89 each is very nice.

Uber Rare STi TE's? http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-RAYS-ENG...sories&vxp=mtr

For the money and weight, used forged rims may be your best bet. But 15 x 7 in 5 x 100 doesn't seem very common.

Tire Rack has some cast Motegi Racing wheels in that size that weigh 14.4 lbs, but I don'y know too much about them. They just say 'cast'. Looking at a cast wheel, I would want it to be low-pressure cast and shot-peened if it's going to be light, which the ASA is (I agree on the fake rivets, though).

Then getting into forged rims probably goes over the $200 budget.

Edit: That's even tough with an unlimited budget! Going through Volk wheels, only the TE37 Gravel has the size, but they don't even list weight in the specs (ordinary TE37s are ~5kg but only in 4 bolt) and they cost about 3x your budget (51,450¥ each).

Right. So you're getting a glimpse of my problem here. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...lies/amuse.gif

I did see those Motegis, and they are pretty much my second choice-- even though i don't like that they're black. The 16'' RPF1s are still my number one contender because even though they're one size higher than i want, they weigh less than most of the other 15'' wheels. Their cost is at my maximum tolerance as well, but perhaps i just need to keep digging around the internet.

Man, if only i could get these ($129) 949 Racing wheels in a 5x100. . .

I did just find some Drag DR-34, 15x7, $100.00, 14.2lbs wheels.

I suppose i could paint over that red lip thing if i really had to. I'd prefer finding a different style wheel, but so far, i think this has overtaken the RPF1.

If your going to be racing on these, make sure you inspect them regularly.

Enkei will do custom sizes if ten sets are ordered. Your mission is to find ten people who want what you want. Get with a vendor and try to set up a group buy.

They would be for HPDE, yes. Do you mean to inspect the Drags regularly, or any wheels in general?

Any wheels really, but a low weight ordinary cast wheel in particular.
