1.8 tfsi what a engine!
 

So both me and my dad are audi drivers and it was time for him to part with his 2006 A6 2.7 TDI Multitronic.
Because both me and my lil sister aren't living at home anymore he thought he would get something smaller/better handeling (A6 drives like a boat in my opinion)

And because he doesnt make as many km as he used to he thought he would go with a gasoline engine.
So we went to audi and test drove the new A5 sportsback 1.8 tfsi. And i was absolutely stunned by the performance of this little engine!
It picks up from nearly idle and it keeps on going till 7000 rpm! It has a modest 170hp but a whopping 320nm / 236 ft lb.

what i also found very impressive was how quickly the engine warmed up! i could literally see the dail moving all the time to 90 degrees.

Fuel consumption was also pretty good but didnt really get to test it because we where driving it pretty hard :P.

As it also has dual injection it reminded me of the new ft 86 / brz engine although that one doesnt have a turbo.

So to make this long story short.. he bought one with multitronic ( i know he's an old fart haha )
