So Haas F1 is supposed to announce at least one driver by end of September...who would you pick? Who do you think Haas will pick?

I think Jean-Eric Vergne is a top choice. As an American I'd like to see an American on the team; Alexander Rossi or Scott Speed maybe?

As far as I know most of the current grid is signed for 2016, no?
Mercedes, Ferrari, Williams, Force India...

If mclaren releases him I'd like to see them pick up K Mag.

Kevin Mag, Bruno Senna, Jean Eric Vergne, Kobiashi, there is no shortage of guys with huge talent in F1 unfortunately they will just pick the one who has the best financial backing.

which is why we have Pastor Crashdonado and no Jean Eric etc.

They have to be worried seeing a mchonda right behind them in fp3. Really just a nice lap by Alonso.

If I were Ferrari I don't believe I'd be too keen to supply rb with engines next year.

Mercedes IN trouble......Hamilton retired with power troubles. Safety car dispatched for a fan wandering ON TRACK around lap 36. He was just calmly strolling alongside the armco barrier, didn't look like he was trying to jump in front of a car or anything and then crawled back through a hole in the fence. Long caution for investigation of where he came from and where he went back through. Back to green lap 40. Race probably will go to the 2 hour time limit and not full race length....Button driving aggressive on restart and busted front wing off....wing pieces got struck by other cars and shredded on-course. Will be interesting to see if others get cut tires.

Must be a Merc fan.

That was one of the better Singapore races Ive seen. 1-3 didn't change hands but the safety cars meant it was never a sure thing. Lots of fighting from P5-10 and some surprises along the way with Ham retiring and the guy on track.

Overall it was above average race.

wasn't really concerned with Mercedes. More sad that McLaren Honda had such a good start and then both didn't finish. We all Hamilton is a good driver and the only way anyone can take him right now is when he's having trouble. Rosberg just isn't that skilled.

Sad to hear Jensen Button is retiring.
