I know, but what a start he had.

I bet he is happy to at least finish, and not suffer another broken engine...or wing...or suspension...or a crash.

The cameraman who got hit by Webber's tire suffered a broken collarbone and ribs. Hope he has a full recovery. Commend those who risk themselves who are not behind the wheel especially in the pit lanes.

That guy can't catch a break.

Seems suspicious how flawless Vettel's pit was a few laps earlier...

I've been a huge Mark Webber fan since his early days and I'm sorry to see him leave F1 without a championship. I really wish he could've had a team that was out supporting him and not V3ttel. I hope he does well in Le Mans and I'm glad I'll still get to follow the Aussie Grit in my 2nd favorite racing series. :)

All that said, Vettel is a talented driver in an amazing car and I don't fault him for that. 3 is enough, although it looks like it'll be four. I don't want to see him pass Schumi's 5-in-a-row.

I've always liked Kimi and I'd love to see him show Vettel how it's done. His no bull attitude (Kimi Räikkönen - "I was having a s**t." - YouTube) (NSFW language in that link) is what I've always liked about him. Kimi gets my vote for Red Bull 2014, but they'd have to let him do it his way. He likes where he's at because he gets to do what he wants when he wants... except win championships.

The moment I saw Mark Webber turning a faster time than Vettel (aka: gaining on him) I knew what was going to happen. The same thing that's been happening to him for 3 years now..

Botched pit stop.

I looked over at the G/F and I said: "Just watch hun, they'll botch his pit stop so that he can't race Vettel."

Voila! Even when you don't to play the "bitch", RedBull will see to it that you do. It is not Team RedBull. It is Team Vettel. Don't you forget that. If I was a top tier driver (like Kimi) I absolutely would not want to take Webber's spot at RedBull because it will be the same thing for whomever sits in that #2 car. You will be "the bitch" whether you like it or not.

And then... to make Red Bull look worse, the cry baby of F1, Christian Horner, who's car was unsafely released from the pits and injured a camera man tries to shift blame and say that all personnel in the pit area should be in fulls safety gear. Last time I checked Christian sits on the pit area and he's not wearing nomex and a helmet and besides, full safety gear wouldn't have kept a tire from hitting the camera man IN THE BACK.

The ONLY person at Red Bull that doesn't make my skin crawl is Webber.

Anyone hear the noise of the new V6 turbos for next year?...If not there is an article on Autoblog which gives a preview. It's not the best preview but I didn't like it. I really don't understand the need to switch the current set-up...I am all about eco-friendliness but come on it's the freakin' pinnacle of motorsports! There should be certain things that shouldn't be sacrificed for a little better MPG...what do you guys think?

Back at Spa for the Belgian Grand Prix! The 4 week break is finally over.

Another boring win for Vettel. Another example that he's only good when he doesn't have to deal with cars around. He's a great time attacker and has been gifted Newey's godly engineering, but he only really does well in clean air. Alonso on the other hand drove the balls off his Ferrari and took himself from 9th to 2nd. In Hungary, Vettel couldn't make a pass to save his damn life.

ATL BRZ 08-25-2013 10:20 PM

It was funny when Vettel got booed by the crowd in the post race interview with David Coulthard.

Lewis needs to start capitalizing on all these dominant qualifying perfomances. The Mercs are fast but suffers too much on race pace.....next stop Monza!!! love that track.

GTB/ZR-1 08-26-2013 04:17 PM

And the Ferraris can't qualy for squat, but Alonso sticks its nose deep in there during the race...
