F1/FIA even kicked people out of the track because "The security had to go home."

The 10 place penalty for having to replace parts the track damaged is BS. FIA should be welcome to scrutinize the parts and if they actually need replaced but the penalty is crazy to me.

What really frosts my cookies is that this is not the first time for a similar thing. You'd think that by now the powers that be would have come up with rules that would take into account such things. BUT, OOOhhhh NNOOooooo!
It's my understanding that all the teams were asked about an adhoc change to the rules for Carlos. The only hold out was Merc! Toto stating that the rules are what we all must go by. I know I heard them mention it during the broad cast but cannot find an article to point to now. Maybe someone with better GoogleFoo will find it.

Had a hard time following the race order throughout with all the position changes happening.

Really did not think LasVegas could pull this off with a quality race a few days ago.

Yes, please.

The people I know that live around there called it a cluster fuck.
Traffic in that area of town was already horrible before the track.
No boost to the local economy at all either.

As for the GA side.
The satellite airports started charging people 10x+ of what it cost normally to land during that week. Even more if you wanted to park. They used the excuse "Supply and Demand".
Problem is they are covered by the FAA and that shit don't fly.

So the FAA is coming down on them hard.
