I didn't see the race but just watched the highlights. How did Alonso end up second when he got bumped and spun on that restart??

Red flag was called before the drivers completed the first sector I believe. Pretty much rendering the race start not valid.

That was truly an every multiplayer racing lobby start. I was struggling hard to stay awake and that last red flag infuriated me. As soon as I found out they were going to do a S.C finish, I shut everything off.

F1 used to go entire seasons without a single red flag, but ever since the death of Charlie Whiting, they have been incredibly common.


They used to only be used when it was genuinely impossible to go back to racing conditions with cars still circling the track. Now they just use them for fun to drag out the race. Personally, I'm fine with the race getting cut two laps short. They don't need borderline-staged chaos to keep me entertained.

We have sprint race Quali now . Im getting quite mixed up in what they are doing to try to get this entertaining.
Just put some loud & fast cars on the track & you get my attention.

For once im of the same opinion as Horner: it is completely mad to be doing a Sprint race here at this circuit,
probably one of the most dangerous on the calendar.
