Rained a little earlier but it stopped. The track is damp though.

One bad thing about the location of the COTA: It is in a part of Travis county prone to flash flooding. This could prevent many people from actually getting to the track. Flash floods are freakin' dangerous here, because we have about a foot of soil and then solid limestone beneath that. Once the soil is saturated, everything else runs off into the local creeks. We have a saying: "Turn around, don't drown."

That saying should be put in bars & breweries. Or before I ask for tequila.

If it's anything like the WEC race last year, it'll be a disaster. A little rain can be good for F1. A monsoon is not.

The heavy stuff is due tomorrow (Saturday). Could be several inches of rain. That's bad news here.

Floods in the area and I forgot my bathing suit!!!

Maybe they should issue water skies to the teams instead of tires?

Honda should use their outboard motors this weekend, I'm pretty sure they make more power.
