first practice session just ended a while ago, lot of dudes going off track as they learn the lines. Gotta say I'm pumped to have F1 back in the states, wish I could have gone but school is a bit heavy right now so maybe I'll drive down next year?

Coolest part is the championship can be decided this weekend so it's a big race. Anyone going? Thoughts on the race and the season so far? :burnrubber:

I am not a big fan of F1 but I have heard rumors that Super GT and and other GT and sedan racing series are supposed to be coming. Those I would like to see!

COTA looks like a really fun track to drive. I hope it appears in future racing games. Sector 1 flows so well, and the Spa-like 4-apex turn in Sector 3 is just awesome.

I have heard that the Aussie V8 Supercar series will race there too. Very cool.

The last round @ Abu Dhabi had to been one of the best races I've seen in a while.

I wish I could have gotten tickets for F1 but for sure going to COTA for Moto GP.

That would be awesome. I still regret not going to the exhibition they had back in 2004 or 2005

@RRnold Yeah that race had everything. Battles and crashes in the middle of the field, Vettel proving he can race from the back of the pack and Kimi and his hilarious responses to his team haha. Based on practice so far it looks like Sebastian is set to get the threepeat.

Next season I think McLaren and Ferrari are finally gonna catch Red Bull and it will be a three way battle with Alonso, Button and Vettel. Also looking forward to Perez showing that those bursts of brilliance weren't flukes and that he can get a win now that he'll be in a better car.

Just got back to the hotel. Got there kind of late but caught some of the F1 practice session.. This was my first time seeing and hearing these cars in person and let me tell you..... These things freaking ROAR. Simply amazing machines. If you are any type of car fan this is a must see in person. The Ferrari Challenge practice was pretty nice to watch as well. Also got Charles Pic's autograph! lol.. Today was packed but Sunday is going to be absolutely insane!! lol

Qualifying has started! I think it's gonna be extra important since the drivers are still learning the track. With all the concentration required to get the corners right they can't afford to be fighting with someone during the race.
