Aust parts developers

Hey,

Do you know of any dev thAt will be keen to get there hands on one of these?

I'm happy to be a test car for most parts.

Anyone that wants to develop parts for it early on will probably have one themselves, haha. Most aftermarket parts only start selling in decent quantities after a model drops out of warranty (because they're out of warranty, haha, and they're a fair bit cheaper by this time).

I'll be developing a few parts, once weak and sub-optimal parts are found. Probably will start with a few electronic things including a tunable ECU (yes I know we'll be able to flash the ECU but a completely independent ECU with hand controller will be a lot more useful for those who like tweaking and modding).

No doubt there'll be a few things that fail on the early models, especially if their "no stuff from the parts bin" policy is true. Well, not fail, but aren't the greatest. No doubt there'll be some suspension stuff that needs upgrading... might even try to develop a supercharger bracket or something too. Will see where the market demand is (should be easy to find as an owner, haha) and CAD something up.

I'll be keen to hear about aftermarket support. As for forced induction, there doesn't look like too much room in the engine bay to work with. Seems like a few of the looms and hoses will have to be moved/re-run. How this thing gets modified will be pretty interesting.
Might go visit a few of the subaru gurus and see what they think.

I would think shops like Whiteline will be onto it.
