Powder Coating Rims in the YYC?
 

Haven't found a thread yet so I wanted to start it. Is there anywhere that is cheap and good at powder coating things? I want my rims done and on a budget since I am still in high school. If any one has had any good experiences with people and an affordable price please let me know!:search::sigh::mad0260:

From my understanding if a prepainted item is powdercoated it must first be stripped. There is a price per pound to do this.
Sounds like Plastidip is a lot cheaper.

Yeah plasti dip it , cheapest way to go.
And it is reversible .. And I don't think anyone in Calgary does it, but I have heard there is a shop in Red deer that does

Well I know that plastidip is a very easy solution but Powder coating would be a lot more durable and it's just stock rims so i don't think they would need to do anything to it but spray and bake kinda thing...
