What was the fastest you've taken a corner/turn?
Just as the titles states. What was the fastest you've taken a residential corner or turn? Not on the highway/freeway but spirited driving cruising your neighborhood.
I've taken some 90degree turns with the sport mode on at around 35-45mph. I heard the back tires chirp a slight bit even with traction on. Maybe I can turn it off and actually drift the turn, but I need to know the limits of my FRS first. Post your adventures! |
I don't drive like an asshat in neighborhoods.

true, but I make sure no one is around. I mean NO ONE! and not late at nights either since peeps are prob asleep.

"A California man in a Scion sports car skidded out of control, and ended up crashing into a house early this morning. Thankfully no one was home... " lol

on a twisting road... 60. Residential... 25.

Keep it on the track man.

Many sharp turns on 2 lane roads have a sign indicating the speed you should take the turn. I figure twice that speed is about right :)

Looking around to see if there's no one around is a crappy way of justifying taking a neighborhood corner at the highest speed that you can. And even thinking about drifting around it is idiotic. |

I don't drive recklessly and I don't drive like an asshat. It's not like I drive 40 in a 25MPH zone. I drive 25mph. I take the corner at the speed limit where I can see clearly in all directions and no houses or objects are in the vicinity. And I do not do it on every corner. I don it once in a great great while. Even if I wipe out, which will never happen, there's nothing to hit even if I wanted to, no bush, no houses, no cars, no pets, no humans. Lighten up peeps. |
I turned off the traction control and turned a corner this morning.... Ended up facing the wrong way... Turned traction control back on....
