i have an aero GTS on the way and was thinking of going with the Eibach as well!! did you ever consider KW v3s?

Thanks
Acutally I did, however I could not justify the costs of it, together with the enhanced maintenance of a coilover kit. For my needs (mainly for optical reasons) eibach was a very good solution, as I think the handling of the stock suspension with stickier/bigger tires is already perfect for me. The Eibachs just completed that with the looks I prefere.
Also, I would not have dropped the car on KW v3 more than 1" aswell to keep daily driving usability, so it also would not made that much sence to go for a coilover

TRD_07 04-11-2013 06:12 PM

Sweet car!

soonami77 04-12-2013 01:04 PM

that was my follow up question haha the handling is good with the Eibach? hows it on potholes and speed bumps? my drive way is very steep so curious

Atm I can get the Eibach installed for $800 whilst the KWs were $3k installed!!!

I would thank your post...but i dont know how to =/

thanks killerbee

Just replied your PM
And about the thanks, no worries, you must have a certain amount of posts before you can thank posts. If I remember right its 15 Posts, and then you'll find a Thanks button in the bottom right corner of every post

Not much changed yet as I'm waiting for some parts to arrive. However I took some time to edit the first post in this thread, so you'll find some partlist and actual pictures always in the first post.

Since today was a super sunny day, I went out to have some fun in the Blackforest again. Did a short GoPro Video, however Sound is crap so I'll have to see if I publish or scrap it.

Anyway, some new pictures from today. Only new part is the JPM Gauge Hood. Hope you enjoy the pictures

It has similar features to the GT wing (the wing on US BRZ Limited), but on steroids...

... I've been trying to find a part number for it, but can't find it anywhere on japanparts.com

They have that wing in the commercial section.. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...ight=gt86+aero

$1,200 bucks for the wing.....

thanks for finding that for me... kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth though, lol. I was hoping it came painted from factory for about $800 or so. $1200 plus shipping plus paint? hmm...

I'd imagine that you are paying for the mark up for rarity of the wing since it is probably not offered in the US yet and it is coming from Japan....

Some small stuff arrived yesterday.

TRD Shift Knob
Grazio&co Solid Color Front and Rear T Emblem in matt black

I love the emblems. They may be a small detail, however adding up to the "black and white" look I'm trying to get with the car. I'm still waiting for my smoked Valenti Rear Lights and my flat black Wheels to complete the look. All should arrive in the next 2 weeks. After that I'll check if I go for window tint.

Ah, and changing the emblems is suuuchhhh a crappy work. Rear emblem did come off easy with no problem, but the front emblem killed my thumb :-( (see pictures below)

TRD Shift knob is just a bit bigger then the stock one, however quiet a bit lighter. Since its bad wheater outside I could not go for a test drive, but at least I love the look of it aready :-)

The Valenti Taillights arrived today, and I just had to install them right away.

However, it was already dark when I finished, so I could not make a proper Photoshooting, but I documented the step by step transformation.

Love the lights, the pictures really dont to them justice.

chadstyle 04-24-2013 10:58 PM

They look great!! I smoked mine to get rid of all the shiny, reflective surfaces but these look really cool when the lights are on.

What's next on the list of mods?

Well, for now, not that much :-) I'm still waiting for my flat black replacement wheels from xxr which should arrive in the next week or so. Maybe I'll add the TRD CAI aswell, however not sure I can get it street legal over here so I'm currently checking this. As the car is quiet a cop magnet I dont want to put in parts that are not street legal over here. The fines are quiet expensive (illegal CAI or exhaust will cost you anything between 500-1500 USD fine the first time they catch you, double it for the secound time etc.)

Do they actually check all these parts when they pull you over? That's a bummer..

Here they just say "Sign here, its not an admission of guilt....try to slow it down and have a nice day" lol and then I pay the Ticket Clinic $60 to fight it for me in court. Nice little system here haha...

Sadly they do. And not only if you're speeding or something, they do regular "roadblocks" just to look for illegal tuned cars.

They have far too much time on their hands!! Isn't there any criminals in your country? Lol that's ridiculous.

914_WHITE_FRS 04-28-2013 05:48 PM

your car looks amazing I have same color and fog lights but no aero body kit. I'm not a fan of big wings but this wing is SO SEXY! i will only let this wing have a excuse! i love it! Please tint your windows ;)

GeeTee86 04-30-2013 05:47 AM

This Bee of yours is a killer!

soonami77 05-01-2013 04:43 AM

Pics like this always scare me, a forum I used to be on a guy had set his car up on an embankment for some photos, and the ebrake either failed or wasn't pulled hard enough and it rolled right into the middle of a lake. :o

Car is looking great, I got the Valenti tails in CR version, really happy with them. I think they look great on your car.

my replacement XXR Wheels have arrived today, so Wingo wears now Flat Black XXR 527 (Same Dimensions as before in Chromium)

Some sneak pics from today, better ones with better light will follow.

I think the flat black does fit in better with the other black accents on the car and is less "flashy" as the chromium was, so I like it. Funny how I got flat black wheels in the end even though I always said I hate black wheels because you cant see the design anymore :-)

aqua8701 05-13-2013 11:40 PM

Nice! The decepticon is awesome. I've got my decepticon shirt when cruising on my FZ8. Undeniable resemblance lol.
Those velenti tailights are the business though.
The spoiler reminds me of the STI . Fits your setup very well!

Maik L 05-14-2013 04:48 AM

Thanks ! Hey Can you do the forum a favor? Can you Record in HD at day time and then at night time two clips of your rear tail lights off.. and then on and signaling and hazards on please this would really help give me the idea how it looks at both day at night for buyers to make a decision.

JackSpade 05-20-2013 05:49 PM

That would be very helpful indeed!

Edit: If you klick the link he posted you should get the idea of what they look like, just scroll down a bit!!

I can do that, however Wingo is currently in the shop getting the windows tinted, and will stay there for another 2-3 days, so it will be end of the week untill I'll be able to do a video
