looking good.

Looks great man! I'm planning a similar set up...just trying to figure out if I can run 225/45/18 tire with 18x8.75 +35 XXRs and a 1inch drop without rubbing. It would be awesome if you post how much fender clearance is available after you get your spring kit on! THANKS!

hmmm, I wonder if the tire will end up touching the fender on a big pot hole, when the suspension travels all the way, or if it will just tuck under the fender without any damage

Hmm I scanned up and down page 4 twice and did not see where he listed the wheel specs. He only mentioned he got +35 offset in one post. Tires are 18" in another post. And I guess these wheels come in 7.5 width based on the post before mine? So piecing everything together I'm guessing 18x7.5 +35? Typing that out takes less keystrokes than "See page 4." and saves us a lot of investigative work lol

Anyway, I like how Wingo is turning out. I have the same concern for ground clearance with my mucho expensive lip kit which is why I went with a modest 0.6" drop on STI pinks. GTS aero package owners are a rare site around these forums. Can't wait to see after the drop!

I was on mobile and I couldn't copy and paste two different replies easily to answer the question. I knew he had all the info there...just spread out a little bit. Sorry that you had to investigate lol

Ugh I love Switzerland. I spent a few days in Interlaken and the surrounding mountains last time I was in Europe. The mountains are so incredible and mountains come with switchbacks. haha

Looks good. Wish US didn't have Scion..

That aero kit looks fantastic! More aggressive wheels with coilover suspension would really complete the look of this ride!

Any sort of wider wheels; something that'll fill up the wheel well a little better than the stock ones.

It will be fine. 225 wide tires will just fit into the fenders on stock hight and when fully lowered it will go inside the fender. I've seen setups in this forum with 9.5"x18 ET 38 with 225 tires with coilovers dropped over 1" and having no rubbing issue at all.

We got alot of snow the past few weeks, so I was not able to lower the car yet, however my next Date is set for 09th of march, expect new pictures and informations around that date :-)

Being fair, Page 4 shows a picture of the Wheels in the box, and the box reads 18x8.75 on it, so it would be possible to find the info on page 4 ;-)

And yeah, those "agressiv and making car awesome looking" lips are just a pain to drive on a daily base. Dont understand why the goverment cant build proper roads, how hard can it be? :-)

Thanks on the compliment for wingo, and as you already know by my comment in your thread, I love how your BRZ turned out aswell. Specially jealous on the color

You probably havent checked page 4, stock wheels have been replaced in January (you'll find some pictures on page 4) Just waiting for the drop now

chadstyle 03-01-2013 10:05 AM

Just to confirm...I'm running 18x9.5 with 38 offset in the rears with 255/35/18 and no rubbing at all. 235/40/18 up front. Dropped 1.5" all the way around so I can confirm that setup will work perfect with no issues at all.

As today, after almost 6 weeks, it is finally something over 0° celisus and no snow outside, I took Wingo for a quick spin. Took some pictures along with the new wheels, however still waiting for the drop to happen next weekend, so better pictures will be postet then.
