Looks great man. Are those CE28N wheels? Can we see a side shot?

Sigh-on-Rice 11-14-2012 04:53 AM

How much was each piece?
Just curious. :)

Edit. Maybe THIS.

Hippophobia 11-14-2012 06:18 AM

What shark fin is that? It looks pretty aggressive. I like it.

Pretty sure that's the modellista antenna. Last time I checked it was running around $250+ on Ebay :confused0068:

Orthow 11-14-2012 12:23 PM

Wow that is fantastic looking! Carbon in all the right places - wonder how much weight was shaved with these additions? Roof is my biggest concern as any weight off the highest point of the car is great.

JWMotoring 11-14-2012 12:26 PM

Love the CF. I'm a fan of it myself.

FR-Shadow 11-14-2012 12:29 PM

Please give me a price for those side mirrors lol if the price is right ill send you money to ship me a set.

zenki_levin 11-14-2012 01:00 PM

Looks so much better than the fake carbon wraps.

SupraLove 11-14-2012 01:07 PM

Usually whenever I see CF I always think it looks like crap, but this is really well done man. How much weight are you saving? I know the hood was pretty light as it is, but it was aluminium, and I believe that carbon fibre is stronger so this also should improve structural rigidity.

Tanuki 11-14-2012 01:08 PM

Looks good, but what is that bird claw looking thing where the antenna used to be? ;)

JD86 11-29-2012 02:30 AM

That's a great looking car. Love the TRD diffuser in carbon. Is this all custom work or did you purchase them from somewhere?

im pretty sure i got the same one and i got mine from the dealer ship, its 130$ retail price? but i got hooked up and got it for 70$

ScottChu 11-29-2012 06:48 PM

Damn that's a lot of CF! Now you just need some wheels that fit a bit more aggressively to finish off the look :)

Beyer Subaru 11-29-2012 07:36 PM

I'm assuming all of this stuff is just a carbon fiber wrap? Can the OP please elaborate?

Cade01 11-29-2012 07:41 PM

Just saw a full carbon fiber roof replacement in the commercial classifieds, so it may not be a cover.

6-Shift 11-29-2012 08:28 PM

I second the weight question, any idea of how much weight you supposedly have saved with the roof, hood and trunk? I've been thinking about all three and I'd love to know whether it's more than for looks :p

JDMenrique 11-29-2012 08:49 PM

Wow. Very nice!

roof is def real, i saw on facebook with an entire car done in CF i think it was around 80-100kg lighter... thats around 200lbs lighter :D FYI

Fallen hero 11-30-2012 03:04 AM

Wow that just makes me want it so bad I and I don't even like cf

mechaghost 11-30-2012 03:09 AM

nix 11-30-2012 05:41 AM

Do like!!!

Nevermore 11-30-2012 08:39 AM

Looks like he got everything but the rear seat delete and the fenders. Wonder if he's planning on getting those as well. Either way this seems to be a pretty expensive conversion, but it looks pretty awesome too.

Beyer Subaru 11-30-2012 10:34 AM

Mmmmk. So if you are taking over for the OP - Can you please elaborate?
Is the roof an overlay, wrap or complete replacement?
What is going on with the rear bumper? Is that a wrap, overlay or complete bumper replacement?
If it is a complete bumper replacement and you had it painted, why not paint the other components?

An attractive mod for sure, but for me.............Don't sweat the bling - go drive the thing. Isn't that what it's all about?

So how much does the stock roof weight? Looking at seibon, their CF overlay is 6lbs.

daval 12-15-2012 05:42 AM

OP posted but no concrete info, we need OP to chime in.

But very interesting pieces nevertheless.
