Can u post more pic during daylight? i want to see the carbon roof and the hood in daytime.
Thanks |
Wow, how much weight savings did you see with these mods?
|
pricing availability and ordering link, must get weight data, must have...
|
I doubt there would be much weight loss since just about every thing he has is an addition to the car and the oem hood is aluminum. Only decent savings I can see are in the trunk but I doubt that's much.
Looks great tho!!! I love the rear lip! |
If you get only one part in CF, sure there is no significant weight saving. But if you go full CF, a little here, a little there, you can save quite alot up to more than 50 kg. But htat costs of course.

Love cf but hates maintaining it... Prevously, My cf bonnet turned dull after 6 months on my sub imp....
|
well the way he describes it,"cover" that mean no weight loss, only gains in weight.

A few ppl might've noticed that OP said "double sided CF cover". Sounds like an overlay over OEM parts. Instead of vinyl wrap, it's a stiff piece of real CF.

PS: CF hood and trunk are available as real CF replacement, but roof, would almost have to stay an overlay. Seibon already have these available, msg if anyone's interested. http://seiboncarbon.com/store/media/...cnfrs-c_01.jpg |
Brand? Cost? |
Thanks for the info... for me as you said, i think mine is gel coated. i jus went to the paint shop and they made it look brand new again every 6 months.
