I took mine on monday, to toyota dch in mamaroneck,ny and well it was a good expercience. I total it took them 2 days, the tech that worked on my vehicle also owned one and took good care of mine, they gave me a loner and didnt pay 1 cent! overall great experience !!

did mine as well.. they gave me a prius for a loner
fast and easy TSB! |
Seeing as how the issue keeps popping up, I'll wait a little longer before taking mine in.

I had mine fixed about 2 months ago...then had the ECU replaced about 2 weeks ago for the CEL/SCL issue. Right after receiving my FR-S back from the dealership, as soon as I got home (about 10 miles away) the chirping came back...now mind you this is after they already replaced the fuel pump once. I have a sneaking suspicion it's not just due to the fuel pump.

Replace a fuel pump....
with the same exact fuel pump expect different results this is called insanity. |

It's never going to be a recall sadly, no safety issue, just noise... :S

The only difference between this and a recall is that the customer has to bring the issue to the dealership's attention rather than the other way around. |
At this point, I'm just like "let it chirp". Just finding it hard to care nowadays...
