NW Toy Run 2012 - December 2nd
 

Copied and pasted from Kettleman's original post on PSTOC.org. This will be my 9th year participating in the NW Toy Run - and I'm sure a bunch of you have been there at one event or another. Good excuse for a GTG and help out Toys for Tots.

I think we should show support this year repping the FRS/BRZ NW community.

Anyone want to head the event? its only less than 2 weeks away.

Josh : We could all rally @ my facility and then convoy up there if anyone likes?

Matt : this would be my 7th I think. I missed it last year. You wanna head this event? :)

I can head it - that is no problem.

Pending the number of people coming we can fold our group in with the PSTOC guys who are meeting at the old Walmart parking lot in Auburn. I'd like to see a big showing from us - we're new this year and we should represent in full force!


I'll throw out a tentative schedule. Let me know your thoughts:

10:00 - 10:30 roll in at Drift Office

Take pictures, chat, etc.

11:00 - roll out to Pacific Raceways. This will hopefully get us through the gates early enough to miss the traffic jam coming into the venue and get us a nice spot towards the front of the parking lot.

The entire Pacific Raceways parking lot will be packed, so getting there early is important! 757 people have confirmed they are going on Facebook - I'm sure that will be a conservative number.


Bring as many toys as you can - unwrapped with the tags still on. If you don't have time to grab a toy make sure you have $5 for a Toys for Tots donation.

OH CRAP.

I forgot I'll be in Florida this weekend for the PRI (Performance Racing Industry) show.

You guys are more than welcome to use my lot though! :)

Who else is planning on showing up? If there isn't a lot I was going to look at folding the pre-meet location into the same one the Puget Sound Toyota Owner's Club will be using (The old Walmart parking lot @ the Supermall) and have us caravan with them up to Pacific Raceways.

i guess thats a better idea, might not make it out there till afternoon anyway :(

Alright ladies - I have only seen a few confirmations of people attending, so I am going to roll out meeting spot just down the street from Bob's shop to the Supermall. Meet up in the old Walmart parking lot around 10:30 - 10:45. I'll be there. If anyone gets lost or is running late or anything you can call/text me. two zero six nine one five nine five one three

The Oregon guys are leaving at 9:15 to get up here - expecting them to arrive around 11:15 - 11:30. Figure we can plan to start meeting there at 10:30 - 10:45. That will give us time to take some pictures, BS, etc. Once they show up we will caravan out to Pacific Raceways.
